2025 The Year of the Snake

Is it prescience, clairvoyance, prognosticating that we chose the Year of the Snake as the exact year to debut the Chimney Snake? Of course it was … not. The stars aligned to form this happy serendipity, and we’re thrilled that, even with a slew of barriers tossed our way, we ended up here and it’s, for sure, kismet.

Is it a coincidence that the two founding members of Chimney Snake, LLC, were both born in the Year of the Snake? I say “nay,” that this was designed to be.

The traits of snake people are intelligence and wisdom (of course I concur), analytical and passionate (keep going), intuitive, determined and quick witted (we’re not arguing with that). And for the Chimney Snake, the characteristics of adaptability, effectiveness, highly purposeful, works quickly, single minded and goal oriented, fits perfectly. Seriously, we can’t make this stuff up!

The family team rounding out our merry partnership are a Dog and a Horse (not the animals, but the people born in the year of ….). One son, the Dog, does our sales, operations and procurement. And like the zodiac sign, he is dedicated, helpful, dependable, friendly and compassionate. Second Son, our tech guru, like a Horse, is tenacious, confident, responsible, motivated and has tons of endurance.

Together, we totally crush the Chinese zodiac, forging together to make the dream come true.

Two snakes, one dog, and one horse: a menagerie of personalities that somehow works. We don’t always work in complete harmony, we are constantly bouncing ideas off each other, sometimes we agree, sometimes we don’t. But always we push forward, like runners jumping hurdles. We may not always like the journey, but we do enjoy that finish line!

Now, if I could only get everyone to stay in their own lane, we have a lot fewer collisions. But that’s for another day, and another blog.
